Arthur H. "Buddy" Metcalf II

A native of Montgomery, Alabama, Buddy was graduated from Auburn University in 1969 with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting. In addition to being a CPA he holds the Accredited in Business Valuation (ABV) designation from the AICPA.

He entered public accounting with an international accounting firm in Atlanta. In 1978, Buddy founded the Atlanta accounting firm known today as Metcalf Davis. His practice areas include real estate tax, international taxation, and accounting and tax for not-for-profit organizations. He also leads the Firm's services to the legal profession specialty group and is frequently called upon as an expert witness in litigation matters.

Buddy has been a member of the Executive Committee of the Private Companies Practice Section (PCPS) of the Division for CPA firms of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants; Chairman of the Board of Directors of BKR International Accounting Association; and a member of several committees of the Georgia Society of Certified Public Accountants. He is a life member of the Board of Trustees of Pace Academy and is a past international president of Sigma Chi Fraternity. He is a member of the Society of International Business Fellows.
