History of The Firm
The importance of understanding the past while focusing on the future is deeply rooted at Metcalf Davis. Formed in 1978, the Firm has been a strategic partner with businesses shaping the Atlanta economy. The Firm is challenged with timeliness, providing common sense answers to complex issues, and helping our business partners achieve their goals by introducing innovative approaches and solutions. Helping our clients "Foster Success" is the Firm's primary goal. The structure of the Firm is based on a management team approach for making effective strategic decisions and responding to the changing day-to-day needs of clients. We work with them to gain a full understanding of all phases of their business. Then, together, we develop business strategies which work for them.

Metcalf Davis is a member in good standing of the Governmental Audit Quality Center of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA).
Metcalf Davis is also a member of BKR International, a leading global association of independent accounting and business advisory firms. Through this membership, we are able to maintain our autonomy and independence while providing access to the global resources, capabilities and expertise of its member firms around the world.
Metcalf Davis actively supports many civic and religious organizations in the community with many members of the Firm serving on various boards of directors.
